Industrial engines

For many years I've heard reference to a mystery industrial engine based on the Type 4 engine. For those of you that aren't familiar with "industrial" engines, they were a seperate engine sold by VW for mundane things like water pumps, power generators, etc.

A nice reader sent me these pictures of his Type 127 industrial engine based on the Type 4 platform. So, here are the pictures he sent me. I don't have any more details on this engine at this time. If I do, rest assured that I will post them.
